About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our community-based team. In this role, you will provide occupational therapy services to individuals of all ages, supporting clients in their homes, schools, workplaces, and community environments. The therapist will work collaboratively with clients, families, caregivers, and other professionals to promote independence, participation, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for children, adults, and seniors.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs and goals.
- Provide therapy in community settings such as homes, schools, workplaces, and community centers.
- Support clients in improving daily living skills, mobility, sensory processing, cognitive functioning, and community participation.
- Educate and collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and other healthcare professionals.
- Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress reports.




- Participate in team meetings and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current registration or eligibility with the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists or relevant provincial regulatory body
- Experience working with diverse age groups (pediatrics, adults, seniors) preferred.
- Experience in community, home care, or school-based settings is an asset.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle (for community visits).

Job Types: Casual, Freelance

Pay: $30.00-$60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 40 per week
