Skyview Windows Manufacturing Inc. is a growing manufacturer of high-quality windows and doors serving residential and commercial customers across Ontario. We are looking for a skilled and reliable Door Painter to join our manufacturing team at our London, Ontario facility.

Position Summary

The Door Painter will be responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing doors and related components according to company quality standards and production requirements. The successful candidate must have strong attention to detail, take pride in their work, and be able to work efficiently in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

- Prepare doors and surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming.
- Apply paint, coatings, and finishes using spray equipment and other appropriate tools.
- Ensure doors are painted evenly and meet Skyview's quality standards.
- Inspect finished products for defects, inconsistencies, and imperfections.
- Perform touch-ups and corrections as required.
- Maintain proper paint thickness, colour consistency, and overall finish quality.
- Clean and maintain spray guns, painting equipment, and work areas.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
- Properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Handle paints, solvents, and other materials safely and according to workplace procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work efficiently to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Communicate any quality or production issues to the supervisor.
- Perform other production-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

- Previous experience in door, cabinet, automotive, industrial, or spray painting is an asset.




- Experience using spray painting equipment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift and handle doors and materials safely.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.
- Ability to follow instructions and workplace safety procedures.
- Experience in a window and door manufacturing environment is an asset.

The position requires the ability to:
