Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper and Payroll to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring the integrity of our accounting data. Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including data entry and record keeping
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks and Quickbooks Payroll, to record financial transactions
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable with accuracy and timeliness
- Perform account reconciliations for bank statements and general ledger accounts
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities
- Assist with bank reconciliation procedures to ensure financial accuracy
- Support budgeting processes by providing relevant financial data and analysis
- Maintain organized financial records in compliance with company policies and regulations
- Prepare reports related to financial status, including balance sheets and income statements
Skills
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks is required
- Solid knowledge of bookkeeping principles, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation
- Experience with bank reconciliation and account analysis is preferred
- Ability to perform budgeting tasks and financial reporting accurately
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills to identify discrepancies and resolve issues effectively
- Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and external auditors
- Prior experience in payroll processing is a plus but not mandatory
