Full-Time Cook – Mexican Food Store

Salsita is hiring a Full-Time Cook for our Mexican food store in NW Calgary.

We provide training — you do not need to be an expert cook. We are looking for someone responsible, reliable, willing to learn, and who enjoys cooking and has a genuine interest in food.

Main duties:

- Prepare Mexican food following our recipes
- Portion, package and label food
- Keep the kitchen clean and organized
- Occasionally help customers and operate the cash register

Requirements:

- Enjoys cooking and learning about food
- Able to communicate in English
- Responsible and willing to learn
- Available to work weekends when needed
- Legally entitled to work in Canada

Pay: Starting at $16/hour and up, depending on experience and skills

Full-time, permanent position

Employee discount, discounted or free food, and in office parking.

Pay: $16.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 per week
