Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist for a 12-month contract opportunity supporting high-volume recruitment across Alberta and Saskatchewan. This role is ideal for a confident, self-driven recruiter who enjoys sourcing hard-to-find talent, building relationships, and acting as a trusted advisor to hiring leaders.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will focus on recruiting licensed pharmacists, pharmacy students, pharmacy technician students, and internationally trained pharmacy graduates pursuing Canadian licensure. This is a fully remote role with regular travel for campus visits, pharmacy outreach, recruitment events, and in-person sourcing activities.

This opportunity offers strong visibility, meaningful impact, and the chance to partner closely with HR leaders, district managers, pharmacy managers, and owner-operators. The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and supportive, with an emphasis on initiative, candidate engagement, and practical recruitment solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Source, engage, screen, and recruit candidates for 30 to 50 open pharmacy-related roles across Alberta and Saskatchewan.
- Build proactive talent pipelines through cold calling, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Workday, social media, campus outreach, pharmacy visits, and networking.




- Partner daily with hiring managers, district managers, pharmacy managers, HR partners, and owner-operators to clarify hiring needs and recommend recruitment strategies.
- Represent the organization at campus, industry, company, and recruitment events, including introductions, candidate engagement, and light public speaking.
- Promote employment opportunities across social media channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and other candidate communities.
- Deliver a positive candidate experience while maintaining strong communication, follow-up, and recruitment process discipline.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $42.00 to $44.00 per hour.
- Contract length: 12 months, with a robust chance of extension.
- Schedule: 35 hours per week, typically 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with flexibility
- Start date: ASAP.
- Work arrangement: Fully remote, with travel required for events, campuses, and in-person sourcing.
- Location requirement: Must live in Alberta or Saskatchewan.
- Mileage is expensed
