The Accompaniment role provides attentive, reliable support by accompanying people during activities and helping them feel at ease. The work calls for respectful communication, awareness of individual needs, and dependable follow-through. You will coordinate with resident to support smooth, considerate experiences and to make the appropriate changes.
Responsibilities
- Accompany individual as agreed, offering calm, attentive support throughout the activity.
- Listen to requests, communicate information clearly, and adapt your approach to the person’s needs and preferences.
- Coordinate timing and practical arrangements with resident.
- Observe and report concerns, while respecting privacy and personal boundaries.
Experience
Required: Transparent communication, patience, reliability, and sound judgment are essential for providing attentive support,
responding respectfully, and coordinating arrangements. You should be able to follow agreed instructions, notice relevant changes, and share information discreetly as necessary.
Preferred: Related experience accompanying or supporting others, along with strengths in organization and adapting communication to different needs. Thoughtful accompaniment helps people feel supported and coordinate care and activities smoothly.
Pay: $100.00-$145.00 per day
