Position Description:

Green Integrations Inc. is a leading clean-tech solutions company with a strong focus on providing commercial solar solutions. We are looking for a highly motivated solar installer to join our team on an as needed basis. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working outdoors year-round on commercial rooftops, and must be proficient in using hand tools. The work conditions include repetitive tasks, handling moderately heavy loads, and are physically demanding.

Starting Wage ranges from $33 to $34 per hour based on your experience level

Responsibilities:

- Prepare worksite and materials under the supervision of the Construction Manager;
- Assemble and install mechanical system components;
- Install Solar PV system components and DC strings;
- Provide progress reports and checklists to Team Lead as required.

Qualifications:

- Mechanical skills are essential, and electrical skills are an asset
- Working at Heights Certification
- Previous experience in construction, roofing, landscaping or similar labor-intensive work environment
- The ability to work in a fast-paced workplace
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Customer service experience and strong interpersonal skills
- The ability to read schematic drawings is an asset
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Willing to travel regularly, including overnight (travel expenses paid by employer)
- Involves labour-intensive, physically demanding work,



therefore the ability to lift and carry safely is essential

Job functions:

- Follows direction from foreman/construction manager
- Ability to use proper tools to accomplish tasks
- Ability to operate forklifts, telehandlers, aerial and platform lifts (is an asset)
- Works alongside other colleagues to complete tasks
- Identify safety hazards you or other employees may be subject to and take all necessary corrective action to eliminate or minimize hazards.

Typical Duties:

- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to the job site (as required);
- Install ballasted rooftop racking systems according to plan & quality manual;
- Install Roof anchors on sloped or flat roofs according to plan & quality manual;
- Install Inverters and Solar Panels according to plan & quality manual;
- Complete site checks and cleanup at the conclusion of each day.

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Experience:

- Construction: 1 year (required)
- Solar installation: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence and automobile (preferred)
- Working at Heights Certificate (required)
