Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server/Bartender to join our agile team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while efficiently managing the bar area. Your role will involve preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences
- Operate the Micros POS system for order processing and cash handling
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including cleaning glasses, utensils, and equipment
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations in food handling practices
- Manage inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, and other supplies; assist in ordering as necessary
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly; perform basic math calculations for payments




- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable
- Demonstrate effective time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently

Qualifications

- Previous experience in the restaurant or food service industry is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality
- Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Must be of legal drinking age as per local regulations

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
