Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and supporting the overall dining experience to ensure customer satisfaction. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. The Server plays a vital role in delivering memorable hospitality experiences while maintaining efficiency and professionalism.

Duties

- Greet guests promptly and courteously upon arrival
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks in a timely manner, ensuring presentation standards are met
- Handle cash transactions accurately and perform cashiering duties
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods




- Ensure guest needs are met promptly, addressing any concerns or special requests with professionalism
- Follow all sanitation, health, and safety regulations throughout service

Skills

- Proficiency with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for order entry and cashiering
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols within the food industry
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred but not required; training provided for those current to the industry
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing processes
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper serving techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Positive attitude, teamwork orientation, and professional appearance

Pay: Up to $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 44.0 per week
