Job Description

Advanced Medical Group (AMG) is a modern, multi-disciplinary medical facility serving London and the surrounding community. Our REJUV Health Program is a leading exercise and lifestyle program designed to help older adults build strength, confidence, and independence through movement. Our program continues to grow and we are looking for the right instructor to grow with us.

AMG is currently seeking an experienced Seniors Fitness Instructor to lead a combination aerobic-and-strength basedgroup exercise classes for active older adults.

This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys working with older adults and can bringknowledge, positive energy, personality and adaptability into the studio, while maintaining the safety of our members.

You will work alongside our Lead Kinesiologist and be a part of a supportive and collaborative team focused on delivering high-quality, engaging exercise programming.

As our program expands, there is opportunity for additional hours and class offerings and we would be open to expanding our program to include your preferred class style as we continue to grow.

What You'll Be Doing

- Leading safe, engaging, and effective aerobic and strength-circuit based group fitness classes




- Modifying exercises for a range of abilities
- Creating a welcoming, positive environment
- Communicatingconstructively andconsistently with the REJUV Health team
- Supporting our members in building habits that promote longevity

Qualifications & Experience:

- CCAA Senior Fitness Instructor (SFIC) preferred, or equivalent recognized Group Fitness/Exercise Instructor Certification
- First Aid/CPR C & Vulnerable Sector Police Check preferred, required within 30 days of employment
- 2+ years experience teaching group fitness classes for older adults is considered an asset
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with class members and to engage in constructive and consistent communication with program leaders.

While this role is primarily aerobic and strength focused, we also welcome instructors with backgrounds in:

- Yoga
- Pilates
