Job Summary

As a Personal Support Worker, provide respectful, person-centred assistance that supports individuals’ daily routines, comfort, and independence. Work attentively with each person and coordinate care with colleagues to help maintain a safe, supportive environment.

Responsibilities

- Assist with personal care and daily activities, adapting support to individual needs and preferences.
- Prepare meals, help with eating as appropriate, and complete light cleaning to maintain a comfortable living space.
- Support medication administration in accordance with established care plans and workplace procedures.
- Provide attentive senior care, including dementia care and support for individuals with disabilities, while observing and communicating changes in wellbeing.

Requirements

Required: Practical caregiving skills, clear communication, patience, attention to individual needs, and the ability to follow care plans and procedures are important for providing secure, respectful daily support. Preferred: Assisted living, nursing home, senior care, dementia care, disability support, medication administration, home care, meal preparation, or cleaning experience can help you contribute confidently across varied care settings.

Pay: $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34.0 – 40.0 per week

Education:
