The Drywall Taper & T-Bar Worker completes drywall finishing and suspended ceiling tasks on construction projects. This hands-on role involves preparing surfaces, applying finishing materials, and installing ceiling components according to project plans and site requirements. Careful workmanship and coordination help keep work areas organized and support smooth progress for the crew.
Responsibilities
- Prepare drywall surfaces, apply tape and compound, and finish joints for a smooth, paint-ready result.
- Install T-bar ceiling grids and related components, checking alignment and fit as work progresses.
- Use hand tools safely and maintain an orderly work area.
- Complete related caulking, carpentry, construction painting, and general repair tasks as needed.

Qualifications
Required: Practical drywall finishing and T-bar installation capabilities, careful measuring, safe hand-tool use, and the ability to follow blueprints and project instructions. Preferred: Construction experience, including carpentry, caulking, construction painting, or handyman work, is practical for handling varied site tasks and adapting to project needs.
Pay: From $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week
