The CNC / Programmer / Some CAD role supports accurate, effective manufacturing by programming and operating CNC equipment, interpreting technical drawings, and contributing to practical design work. You’ll work with colleagues to produce machined components that meet specifications and keep production moving.
Duties
- Create and adjust CNC programs for Freedom Patriot 4 x 8 machine with 5 Tool Magazine using V Carve Software
- Read blueprints, apply basic math, and use calipers and other measuring tools to check dimensions and quality.
- Support Some basic CAD tasks in AutoCAD (seat to be acquired) …
- Your impact: Accurate programming and inspection help colleagues deliver consistent parts and avoid preventable rework.
- Initial work in Factory to familiarize with methods and machinery.
Must understand woodworking principles and joinery methods including, Dowel, Spline, various connectors etc. Must be able to program effectively for Laminate and Veneer components understanding dimensional tolerances etc.
Experience
Required: Practical CNC programming and machining capabilities, mechanical knowledge, blueprint reading, basic math, and care when measuring parts with calipers. Preferred: Experience with VCarve , SolidWorks, CAD, CNC Woodworking Machinery or manufacturing, assembly, lean manufacturing.
