Adventure Growth Space – Richmond, BC

Adventure Growth Space is looking for a Part time Math Tutor to work with elementary school students in a small-group learning environment.

The position currently focuses primarily on students in Grades 1–6. Each tutoring session is approximately 1.5–2 hours.

Responsibilities

- Tutor students in Math, primarily Grades 1–6
- Explain math concepts clearly and help students develop robust foundational skills
- Provide practice and support based on students’ individual needs
- Help students improve problem-solving skills and confidence in Math
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback when needed
- Maintain a positive and encouraging learning environment

Qualifications

- Strong Math skills
- Experience tutoring or working with children is preferred
- Patient, responsible, and able to explain concepts clearly




- Comfortable working with small groups of students
- University students and recent graduates are welcome to apply
- Education, Mathematics, Science, Engineering, or a related background is an asset
- Ability to tutor higher grade levels in the future is an asset
