Minted Search Group is hiring on behalf of our clients, an established public accounting firm in Markham looking for an Audit Junior. Overtime is paid. You will get real exposure to audit engagements early. You work alongside seniors, managers and partners, and you build a strong foundation for your CPA career.

Key Responsibilities
- Support audit and review engagements from planning through to completion
- Prepare working papers and perform testing across key balance sheet and income statement areas
- Prepare financial statements and engagement files using CaseWare
- Gather information from clients and follow up on outstanding items
- Identify issues and raise them with seniors and managers
- Assist with compilation engagements and tax returns as needed
- Meet deadlines through busy season, with overtime paid
Requirements
- Accounting degree, enrolled in or planning to pursue the CPA program
- 0 to 2 years of public accounting experience, including co-op or internship terms
- Exposure to CaseWare is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Strong communication skills and comfortable dealing directly with clients
- Able to work on-site in Markham
Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
