About the Opportunity We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC 5-Axis Setter Operator to join a well-established precision manufacturing company in Woodbridge, Ontario.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on CNC machining experience who enjoys working with advanced equipment and manufacturing complex, high-precision components for the aerospace, defence, nuclear and medical industries.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a precision machine shop, strong attention to detail and the ability to operate CNC equipment while maintaining strict quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

- Set up, load, unload and operate CNC 5-axis machining equipment.
- Monitor machining operations to ensure components meet production requirements.
- Perform visual inspections and dimensional quality checks using precision measuring instruments.
- Read and follow work instructions, technical drawings and manufacturing specifications.
- Identify and report machining or quality concerns.
- Clean and prepare machined components as required.
- Maintain CNC machinery and surrounding work areas according to safety and housekeeping standards.
- Work collaboratively with machinists, supervisors and quality personnel.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and quality.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous experience operating CNC machinery in a precision manufacturing environment.
- 5+ years of relevant CNC machining experience preferred,



ideally within aerospace, defence, nuclear or medical device manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with CNC 5-axis machines strongly preferred.
- Understanding of CNC machine setups, tooling and machining operations.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments and perform in-process inspections.
- Comfortable following technical drawings, written instructions and production procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Dependable, punctual and safety-conscious.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Motivated to learn new equipment and develop technical skills.

Security Clearance Requirement: Applicants must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents and be able to complete required background and security screening.
Compensation & Benefits
