Strengthen student independence through mobility, communication, and daily living support as an Educational Assistant 2 Rehabilitation Assistant. Work across multiple locations.

The Clinical Services Unit seeks a Rehabilitation Assistant for a divisional itinerant assignment. You will deliver established activities under school clinician direction, supporting physical, psychosocial, cognitive, and communication development. The position includes student supervision, behavioral response, and assistance with individualized programming.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and assist mobility and strengthening exercises
- Support toileting, dressing, feeding, and catheterization activities
- Encourage positive interaction with peers
- Assist students entering buses and changing areas




- Maintain activity equipment and report malfunctions

Requirements:

- Experience supporting physical, social, behavioral, and developmental needs
- Ability to meet lifting and transferring demands
- Ability to develop therapeutic student rapport
- Positive organizational and problem-solving skills
- Satisfactory Criminal Record and Child Abuse Registry checks

Use rehabilitation activities, adaptive equipment, and relationship-based support to help students build skills and foster independence.
