Bring STEM learning to Northern Ontario schools as a STEM Communicator with Science North’s outreach education team. Lead practical activities through occasional travel and virtual delivery.

This full-time STEM Communicator contract runs through August 27, 2027. You will deliver outreach programs, school activities, and SHSM certifications for students across diverse settings. The position also contributes to school program development and resources supporting teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver in-class STEM activities across Northern Ontario schools
- Lead lessons for students visiting both science centres
- Guide high-school learners through SHSM certification pathways
- Facilitate e-workshops for remote classrooms




- Create education resources and support lesson plan writing

Requirements:

- Experience delivering programs to in-person and virtual audiences
- English and French communication and presentation abilities
- STEM, education, related background, or equivalent experience
- Virtual learning platform familiarity is an asset
- Valid G licence and safe driving record are assets
