Use emergency medical care and patient assessment skills as a Paramedic Level 1 with Toronto Paramedic Services. This is full time temporary work.

Working in PS Operations, you will support sick, injured, and convalescent patients in ambulances and other divisional vehicles. Care follows Basic and Advanced Life Support standards, Standard Operating Procedures, and Base Hospital direction. Responsibilities include selecting equipment, transferring patients, reporting incidents, completing records, and preparing ambulances for assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Respond with appropriate equipment based on available information
- Provide patient care under applicable medical standards
- Transfer patients between vehicles and treatment centres
- Complete patient, incident, accident,



and operational reports
- Prepare stretchers and equipment for subsequent assignments

Requirements:

- Hold MOHLTC-recognized Primary Care Paramedic education
- Meet Ontario Ambulance Act employment requirements
- Achieve required Base Hospital cross-certification
- Pass oral, written, and physical emergency-care examinations
- Remain physically capable of performing required duties

Bring emergency care, patient assessment, treatment, transfer, and reporting capabilities to Paramedic Level 1 service operations.
