Deliver respiratory therapy across Alberta Hospital Edmonton’s ECT program, ICU, wards, and emergency services. Use patient assessment and care planning skills in a temporary part-time assignment.

This Respiratory Therapist I position supports adult acute services within Addiction and Mental Health Programs. You will assess patients, implement care plans, monitor progress, and educate families about treatments and equipment. Collaboration with clinical teams and training healthcare providers are central to the work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess patients and develop respiratory therapy care plans
- Monitor patient progress and clinical outcomes
- Educate families about diseases, medications, and treatments
- Train providers on respiratory diagnostic equipment
- Assist with respiratory therapeutic equipment and interventions

Requirements:

- Active or eligible registration with CARTA
- Recognized Respiratory Therapy school graduation
- CBRC exam eligibility or successful completion
- Current basic life support certification
- Transparent verbal and written clinical communication
