As a Casual Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit, you will provide patient-centered care within a collaborative critical care setting. The unit supports adult patients with severe, acute medical conditions across 14 critical care beds and four stepdown beds. Apply clinical judgment, nursing standards, and specialized competencies while supporting recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver care to critically ill patients with healthcare providers
- Apply nursing standards and the Nursing Process
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Teach patients and families about health needs




- Maintain compliance with safety legislation and procedures

Requirements:

- Current Ontario Registered Nurse certificate of competency
- Ontario-standard critical care nursing program certificate
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification
- Recent experience working in an Intensive Care Unit
- Competency managing Level 3 patients and intravenous therapy

Support critically ill adults through ICU assessment, patient education, safety practices, and interdisciplinary collaboration in Ontario.
