Strengthen cybersecurity and application reliability as an Analyst supporting Livingstone Range School Division’s schools and administrative offices in Fort Macleod.

This full time, permanent position combines application management, security practices, and technical support. Reporting to the Coordinator of Information Technology, you will administer educational and administrative software, including student information systems, while supporting access, deployment, updates, licensing, and integrations. You will also help protect confidential information through endpoint protection, access controls, patching, monitoring, backup verification, and incident response procedures. Responsive service, analytical thinking, and collaboration are central to supporting users across the division. Experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Windows environments, cloud applications, and network administration is required.

Key Responsibilities:





- Administer and troubleshoot educational and administrative applications
- Support application deployment, integration, updates, licensing, and access
- Implement endpoint protection, access controls, patching, and monitoring
- Identify and report vulnerabilities, risks, and potential incidents
- Support backups, disaster recovery, and incident response procedures

Requirements:

- Diploma or degree in information technology or related field
- Three years of relevant technical IT experience preferred
- Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, applications, and networks
- Knowledge of cybersecurity practices and user account management
- Ability to protect confidential student and staff information
