Shape upstream energy M&A; analysis and execution with ATB Capital Markets, using commercial evaluation, valuation models and market intelligence onsite.
As an experienced Associate, you will work within ATB Capital Markets’ Energy & Infrastructure group. Your focus will primarily be upstream while supporting infrastructure and broader energy expansion initiatives. You will assist with M&A;, Investment Banking and financing mandates, working closely with clients, senior management and professionals across the firm in downtown Calgary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct technical and commercial evaluations of energy assets
- Support valuation and execution of M&A; transactions
- Develop client coverage and energy-sector revenue generation ideas
- Oversee data-driven industry research and competitor benchmarking
- Drive pitchbook, CIM and board presentation development
Requirements:
- Required upstream energy, corporate development or investment banking experience
- Post-secondary education in engineering, geology or related fields
- Reserves evaluator experience or expertise strongly preferred
- MBA, CFA, CA, CPA or CBV preferred, not required
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to excellence
Use upstream energy knowledge, M&A; execution skills and strategic research to advise clients through complex transactions.
