Manage grain operations at Paterson Grain’s Grenfell, SK, elevator, combining inventory control, grain shipments, grading, and facility supervision. Use market knowledge and professionalism to serve farmers and end users.
This Facility Manager role reports to the Regional Manager and covers daily operational coordination across the grain elevator. You will support procurement, sales, blending, paperwork, budgeting, profitability, staff development, and customer service requirements. Grain experience and supervisory capability are central.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage grain procurement, inventory, shipments, grading, and sales
- Assist recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and employee training
- Support budgeting, facility costs, and profitability decisions
- Maintain quality standards and maximize operational productivity
- Build customer loyalty with farmers and end users
Requirements:
- Two to three years of grain or industry experience
- Demonstrated leadership capacity and staff mentorship
- High school diploma required
- Mechanical aptitude and supervisory experience preferred
- Agriculture or farming background considered an asset
