Support municipal asset planning through GIS coordination, spatial data management, and map creation with the Town of Saugeen Shores.

As GIS Coordinator, you will work with the Asset Management Supervisor and Asset Management Coordinator across Town departments. Your responsibilities include maintaining long-term information, managing asset inventories, analyzing spatial relationships, and supplying technical details for planning and development. Collaboration with field staff, external companies, contractors, Tourism, and Business Improvement Associations is central to the work. The schedule is 35 hours weekly, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain municipal asset attribute information and spatial data
- Support Asset Management Plan integration with technical information




- Coordinate data from field staff and external companies
- Digitize CAD drawings into GIS for visualization
- Ensure spatial data integrity through topology analysis

Requirements:

- Minimum one year of related work experience
- Database management knowledge for spatial and related data
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build effective working relationships
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when required
