This Building Operator position supports four to five retail assets through hands-on maintenance, inspections, repairs, and contractor oversight. Kipling Group requires commercial or retail experience, solid technical knowledge, and sound judgment across multiple sites. The work includes tenant service responses, operational logs, regulatory documentation, and timely escalation of safety or compliance concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

- Troubleshoot minor electrical, HVAC, and plumbing issues
- Respond professionally to tenant service and comfort requests
- Inspect fire alarms, sprinklers, generators, and emergency lighting




- Review contractor work for quality, completeness, and compliance
- Provide site updates and risk information to Property Managers

Requirements:

- Five-plus years as Building Operator or Maintenance Technician
- Experience supervising contractors across multiple commercial sites
- Understanding of regulatory inspections and applicable safety legislation
- CMMS and basic computer application proficiency
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
