Lead application architecture and networked software design for Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries, emphasizing technology selection, integration, and regulatory alignment. Report to a Manager.

This Solution Architect delivers tactical and strategic business solutions while ensuring requirements are met end-to-end. You will develop conceptual, logical, and physical designs using Enterprise Architecture guidelines, baseline technologies, design patterns, roadmaps, and target-state architectures. The position also supports consulting, procurement, and technology evaluation activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop conceptual and detailed application architectures and designs
- Select baseline technologies and recommend effective solution options
- Ensure designs comply with standards, privacy, security, and legislation




- Research emerging technologies and develop proofs of concept
- Support cost estimates, business cases, RFPs, and technical evaluations

Requirements:

- IT-related degree, diploma, or equivalent qualifications and experience
- At least ten years of Information Technology experience
- At least five years of advanced domain experience
- In-depth knowledge across IT domains and emerging technologies
- Knowledge of business systems analysis and requirements modeling

Use architecture frameworks, technology evaluation, and systems analysis to guide compliant, adaptable solutions across MBLL initiatives.
