Lead daily P&L; reporting and investment accounting analysis as an Associate, Product Control with CPP Investments. This nine-month contract supports public and private markets.

In this associate-level position, you will validate performance, investigate financial discrepancies, and monitor portfolios across investment activities. Your work includes accounting records, valuation reviews, financial statements, and reporting controls. You will collaborate with Investment, Finance, Legal, and Risk colleagues to resolve issues and support accurate results. Knowledge of Murex or SimCorp is considered an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze investment performance and financial results
- Investigate P&L; variances and operational exceptions




- Perform attribution analysis and source-system reconciliations
- Validate valuation adjustments during monthly and quarterly reviews
- Provide analysis and commentary on financial reports

Requirements:

- Undergraduate degree or related college diploma
- Five or more years of relevant experience
- Solid understanding of financial and management accounting
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Murex or SimCorp knowledge is an asset
