Support psychiatric rehabilitation at Northern Lights Lodge through assessment, health teaching, and recovery-oriented care. This role requires advanced English and French proficiency.

As a Registered Nurse with North Bay Regional Health Centre, you will support individuals experiencing serious mental illness in a tertiary rehabilitation environment. Your practice includes psychiatric disorders, symptom management, psychotropic medications, Mental Status Exams, and patient choice. You will help deliver programming that supports goals, plans, and community reintegration.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess patients and complete Mental Status Exams
- Manage symptoms and provide medication-related health teaching
- Facilitate groups for individuals with mental health challenges




- Support patient goals and community reintegration planning
- Collaborate with patients, families, and community partners

Requirements:

- Registered Nurse certificate with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Knowledge of psychiatric disorders and recovery-oriented practice
- Knowledge of consent, capacity, and mental health legislation
- Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and intervention skills
- Commitment to continuing education and quality improvement
