You’ll be at the heart of CIBC’s digital transformation, successfully delivering complex, enterprise-scale mobile projects involving multiple back-end systems. As a Back end Consultant, you’ll assemble, implement and maintain easy, flexible, and personalized solutions that enhance the client experience across both iOS and Android. You’ll lead the planning and strategy for the technical design, development and integration of these applications. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote. - Be able to coach junior developers in the team and provide technical guidance. You can demonstrate 3 plus years of experience in Java/J2EE, Spring/Spring boot, Web Services (SOAP, JSON and RESTFul).



Proven and solid hands-on experience of a minimum of 3+ years in Microservices and API development in an enterprise environment. 1+ years of experience in Cloud environments (Azure/AWS/GCP) and Containerization (OpenShift/Kubernetes). It is an asset if you have experience with banking application development. You are able to coach and provide technical guidance to junior developers in the team to help them to grow.
