LeverageTek is actively seeking a Senior Accountant for a 6-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer. This is a remote position. Perform general ledger reconciliations, including fixed assets, accrued liabilities, and intercompany accounts. Perform general accounting cleanup, account reconciliations (many never done before), month-end close, and fixing of legacy issues. Identify and resolve data discrepancies and ensure financial statement accuracy. Analyze and correct accounting entries, with full understanding of their impact on financial statements. Roll up sleeves for detailed investigative work, including reconstructing fixed asset listings from up to 10 years of data and populating Excel. Support entity merges, AP, procurement, and the Oracle transition as needed. Experience supporting complex general ledger reconciliations, with a focus on fixed assets and other key balance sheet accounts. Strong foundation in accounting principles and experience working in a dynamic, fast-changing environment supporting multiple entities. Progressive accounting experience, with strong reconciliation and GL experience. Solid understanding of core accounting principles and financial reporting.



Experience with Oracle or other ERP systems is an asset. CPA designation is a plus, but not required. Confident working with senior people. Hourly Rate Negotiable.
