Support person-centered resident care at Optima Living as a Health Care Aide, assisting daily living, mobility, medication, and nutrition needs.

Reporting to the Director of Care and working under a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, you will support residents’ physical, emotional, social, spiritual, intellectual, and cultural needs. Your work promotes dignity, self-determination, and functional independence across care activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
- Document observations and interventions, reporting resident changes promptly
- Administer and document medication according to care plans
- Support nutrition, hydration, dining, and meal-time mobility




- Respond to call bells, requests, incidents, and emergency codes

Requirements:

- Recognized Health Care Aide program completion
- Current College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta registration
- Active CPR and First Aid certification
- Medication Administration course, exam, and annual recertification
- Computer literacy and flexibility to work wide-ranging shifts
