Operate commercial trucks for the City of Greater Sudbury in Frobisher Depot, supporting roadway maintenance with safe driving and equipment control. This permanent Truck Driver position works in Roads Operations within Linear Infrastructure Services. Reporting to a Foreperson, you will transport materials, operate mechanical equipment, and assist with municipal roadway repairs. The work may require shifts and includes routine labour, inspections, traffic control, and winter operations assignments.

Key Responsibilities
Safely operate trucks under applicable policies, procedures, and legislation Transport personnel, materials, equipment, merchandise, or refuse Load and unload trucks manually or mechanically Inspect, clean,



and report vehicle defects promptly Assist with roadway maintenance, flagging, and traffic control

Requirements:
Successful completion of Grade XII secondary school education Two years driving commercial vehicles requiring a DZ licence Valid Class DZ licence and acceptable driving record Ability to operate mechanical or hydraulic control systems Ability to read instructions, write reports, and use mobile radios Bring commercial driving, vehicle inspection, and protected roadway operations skills to the City of Greater Sudbury’s Roads Operations team. #J-18808-Ljbffr
