YORK CATHOLIC DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD seeks a permanent CUPE 2331 Lunchtime Supervisor for 10 months. Working under the School Principal’s direction, you will monitor students, encourage appropriate play, and help maintain a safe, caring, positive environment. The schedule is five hours weekly, with an immediate start date.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise students indoors and outdoors during lunch breaks
- Monitor behavior and encourage respect, kindness, and inclusivity
- Report misconduct and atypical situations to school leadership




- Support appropriate play and monitor out-of-bounds areas
- Assist with emergency situations including fire drills

Requirements:

- Less than high school graduation plus additional training or education
- Minimum one month of required experience
- Valuable communication skills and a positive demeanor
- Ability to monitor multiple activities and respect confidentiality
- Experience working with children and attending physical needs
