Vérifier l’exactitude des marchandises expédiées à partir de l’entrepôt. Formation, expérience et qualifications Être disposé à suivre avec succès toute formation jugée pertinente pour le poste. Capacité à lire, écrire, comprendre et communiquer efficacement en anglais. Expérience avec un chariot élévateur au propane. Formation SIMDUT (WHMIS). La majeure partie du travail s’effectue dans l’entrepôt et nécessite le port fréquent d’équipements de protection individuelle (EPI), notamment des bottes de sécurité, des gants, etc. The function of this position is to ship and receive product as required. Additionally, it is expected that the incumbent will maintain an organized warehouse, load picked orders and supply accurate documentation of material received and shipped. There is frequent direct interaction with customers requiring delivery of excellent customer service. Pick customer orders and prepare transfers for other branches in a timely, accurate manner. Provide excellent customer service – to customers and truck drivers. Verify supplier-packing slips by physically checking deliveries. Advise Supervisor of shipment discrepancies immediately.



Advise Supervisor when stock levels are low or back ordered. Stock shelves and arrange in a safe and organized fashion. Unload and load shipments manually and/or with the use of lift truck. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse. Complete safety training as well as follow policies and procedures at all times. Responsible for verification of material shipped from warehouse. Assist with cycle and year-end inventory counts for the branch. Be willing and able to successfully complete training deemed appropriate for the position. Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in English. Good knowledge of all Health and Safety policies and procedure and understanding of safe work practices. WHMIS training.
