Shape enterprise GIS architecture for Geospatial Ontario, combining Azure, data architecture, and complex infrastructure design. Work remotely or from Peterborough or Toronto.

This senior architecture assignment supports six projects across the Geospatial Ontario IT Program. You will create artifacts for the GIS Delivery Platform, ArcGIS Portal Enterprise deployment, data access, and LIO modernization. The assignment requires end-to-end technical solutions aligned with enterprise strategies, current environments, constraints, and viability. You will work with architects, designers, project managers, analysts, vendors, technical teams, and client leads.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design end-to-end solutions for enterprise and core business needs
- Review GIS data access, modelling, and maintenance requirements




- Support ArcGIS Portal Enterprise infrastructure design and deployment
- Analyze platform monitoring, analytics, and operational management modernization
- Maintain architecture policies, standards, governance, and controls

Requirements:

- Ten years total IT experience minimum
- Five years leading solution architecture on large complex projects
- Solid Microsoft Azure cloud platform knowledge
- Experience with APIs, data lakes, data marts, and security
- Knowledge of GO-ITS architecture methodologies and standards
