North of Superior Counselling Programs seeks a permanent, full-time Mental Health Counsellor working 37.5 hours weekly. The counsellor interviews clients, assesses problems, prepares treatment plans, and provides individual and group support. Experience with client-centered therapy, cognitive therapy, brief therapy, or psychotherapy supports this work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Interview clients, prepare case histories, and assess problems
- Prepare treatment plans for individual patients
- Provide counselling, therapy, mediation, and group sessions




- Evaluate counselling effectiveness and patient outcomes
- Maintain records and provide appropriate referrals

Requirements:

- Qualified association accreditation or registration
- Experience with psychotherapy and crisis intervention counselling
- Knowledge of electronic medical records and MS Office
- Criminal record check
- Accuracy, judgement, organization, and reliability
