Recreation & Culture Reporting to the Facility Supervisor, the Custodian is accountable for the general cleaning/disinfecting/housekeeping throughout the assigned facility. In addition, the Custodian may assist with facility set up/take down as required by the facility schedule as well as assist customers visiting the facility. Interact with the public to provide information regarding the facility. reading, writing and oral skills. Good interpersonal skills with the general public. Able to work alone or with minimal supervision. Must be able to wear and use appropriate personal safety equipment and clothing. Able to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays. Previous experience working with cleaning equipment considered an asset.
