Critical care nursing in Owen Sound requires emergency response skills and current BCLS and ACLS certification. This is a full-time position.

Reporting to the Manager of Critical Care and Respiratory Therapy, the Registered Nurse supports critically ill adults and occasionally children. The work includes health promotion, assessment, and supportive, preventative, and therapeutic care. The goal is helping clients return to, attain, or maintain optimal function during illness.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess critically ill patients during the critical phase
- Provide supportive, preventative, and therapeutic care
- Respond effectively during emergency situations
- Participate in staff meetings and unit projects
- Support patient safety across assigned responsibilities

Requirements:

- Ontario College of Nurses registration
- Three years of recent Critical Care experience
- Critical Care Certificate and current BCLS and ACLS
- Current PALS or willingness to obtain within one year
- Robust communication, collaboration, leadership, and decision-making skills
