The Cooks Helper is responsible for the ingredient control of recipes which includes the measuring and portioning of recipe ingredients and the production of food items for the patient menu. The Cooks Helper is also responsible for following: cost control procedures, safe food handling procedures, therapeutic, allergy and menu standards, and providing overall customer service according to departmental standards. Recognized Food Safety and Sanitation Course required or willingness to obtain within six months Physical capability to perform duties of position including heavy lifting, withstanding demands of walking and standing during shift, working in an environment with heat and temperature fluctuations,



as well as the ability to work weekend and rotating shifts as assigned Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred Casual relief, no guaranteed hours 23.25
