Maintain buildings, grounds, and properties as a Maintenance Technician I with the City of Greater Sudbury, completing repairs, cleaning, and upkeep. Working in Maintenance Services within Housing Operations, you will support assigned portfolio areas under general supervision. Your duties span janitorial cleaning, minor plumbing, electrical, heating, venting, carpentry, painting, flooring, appliance, and grounds maintenance tasks. This limited position lasts up to seven months and may be extended.

Key Responsibilities
Complete cleaning, garbage collection, furniture moving, and vacant unit preparation Perform minor repairs across building systems, fixtures, and finishes Mow, trim, prune, plant, water, rake, and transparent snow Assist staff, contractors, emergency officials, tenants,



and prospective tenants Complete work orders, maintenance logs, reports, and tenant request records

Requirements:
Successful completion of Secondary School Grade XII education Over one year through two and a half years related experience Knowledge of cleaning, repair, equipment, hand tools, and grounds techniques Knowledge of occupational health and safety practices Valid driver’s licence and acceptable driving record when required Apply building maintenance, groundskeeping, cleaning, and repair skills while supporting City of Greater Sudbury housing properties. #J-18808-Ljbffr
