Maintain pool water quality and facility operations as a Pool Operator with the Town of Ajax, supporting two indoor pools, a spa, and waterslide.

Reporting to the Facility Supervisor, you will operate the Pool Filter Room and filtration system while maintaining protected, clean recreational facilities. The position combines pool chemistry, custodial work, general repairs, customer service, and staff supervision. You will also complete required records and support building security.

Key Responsibilities:

- Backwash, vacuum, and adjust pool chemistry
- Complete cleaning and maintenance around pool decks
- Perform custodial tasks and operate floor care equipment
- Supervise part-time custodians and support facility supervision
- Complete compliance logs and reports

Requirements:

- Grade 12 high school diploma
- Certified Pool and Spa Operator certificate
- One year custodial experience in recreation
- Intermediate First Aid with CPR C/AED certification
- Class G Ontario driver's licence and clean abstract
