Provide emergency patient care in Valleyview as a Primary Care Paramedic, using basic life support and semi-automated defibrillation. Work includes ambulance operations and patient transport.

As a Primary Care Paramedic with ALTA Paramedic Health, you will assess emergency scenes and patients. You may transport ill or injured patients between scenes and facilities. You may administer minor medications, use BLS airway adjuncts, and lead BLS crews during care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess emergency scenes and patient conditions
- Transport patients between emergency scenes and facilities
- Administer minor medications and provide basic life support
- Operate ambulances and other transportation modes
- Stock and equip ambulances and non-emergent transport units

Requirements:

- Non-restricted Alberta College of Paramedics PCP registration
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support CPR certification
- Eligible Class 4 Alberta Operator's Licence
- Five-year driver abstract with no more than six demerits
- Ability to meet physical and operational requirements

Support Valleyview EMS patients through emergency assessment, transport, BLS care, and properly equipped ambulances.
