Lead municipal financial strategy as Clearwater County’s Corporate Controller, applying CPA expertise, accounting leadership, and financial risk management. This is a Monday-to-Friday role. The Manager of Financial Services leads the County’s financial services team and supports organization-wide decision-making. The position oversees accounting operations, financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, strategic planning, and risk mitigation. It also provides direction for secure, timely, and reliable financial information.

Key Responsibilities
Direct accounts payable, receivable, reception, accounting,



and finance operations Support operating and capital budget development across County departments Prepare year-end financial statements and liaise with auditors Present budget reports and draft the annual tax rate bylaw Implement internal controls and ensure appropriate insurance coverage

Requirements:
Post-secondary degree in business, commerce, accounting, or related field CPA designation with membership in valuable standing At least five years of managerial and supervisory experience Experience presenting complex information to governance boards Municipal government or computerized accounting experience is an asset Bring CPA leadership, municipal budgeting, financial reporting, and risk mitigation expertise to Clearwater County’s financial services team. #J-18808-Ljbffr
