Support automation customers at Qualtech with PLC programming, diagnostics, and emergency response while travelling to customer locations across Canada and the United States.

As an Automation Service Technician, you will support Qualtech Solutions’ automation and control customer service under the Director of Automation. The position involves understanding client processes, proposing corrective solutions, adjusting automated-system instruments, and assisting customers when operations resume. Programming includes PLCs and operator interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

- Understand client needs and processes before planning interventions
- Diagnose customer issues and make required changes
- Implement corrective solutions and assist activity resumption




- Adjust instruments and electronic devices at customer locations
- Program PLCs and operator interfaces according to established models

Requirements:

- At least two years’ related experience
- Strong PLC programming knowledge across major industrial controllers
- Valid Class 5 licence and travel availability up to 50%
- Positive French and intermediate English communication skills
- DEC or DEP related to the field
