Senior Mobile Developer (React Native) | Incorporated Contract | Long-term project We’re looking for an experienced Senior Mobile Developer to join a major digital banking transformation, building a brand-new mobile banking application from the ground up. This is a genuinely greenfield programme , so you’ll be joining at an early stage with the opportunity to influence how the application is architected, built and scaled rather than simply maintaining an established platform. You’ll play a senior role within the mobile engineering team, helping establish the technical foundations and engineering standards for a new cross-platform application using React Native and TypeScript . What you’ll be doing:
- Designing and developing highly scalable mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript
- Helping shape the architecture and technical direction of a new mobile platform
- Establishing strong engineering principles, standards and development practices
- Turning business and customer requirements into effective technical solutions
- Working closely with Product, UX/Design, Architecture and Engineering teams
- Integrating native iOS and Android capabilities where required
- Advising stakeholders and senior leadership on technical approaches and technology decisions




- Ensuring solutions meet enterprise expectations around security, performance, scalability and maintainability
- Supporting continuous improvement across the wider mobile engineering environment What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years’ experience designing, developing and supporting enterprise-level applications
- Strong commercial experience with React Native
- Strong TypeScript experience
- Excellent understanding of mobile application architecture and performance optimisation
- Strong knowledge of modern software engineering principles and best practices
- Experience working directly with business and technical stakeholders
