As Category Manager, Hardlines, you will manage private label and national brand assortments across Hardlines and Seasonal categories. You will guide financial performance, vendor partnerships, product lifecycle decisions, and omnichannel merchandising. The role connects consumer insights, market trends, store needs, and cross-functional execution.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop Hardlines and Seasonal category strategies aligned with company objectives
- Lead annual line reviews and seasonal merchandising programs
- Manage assortments, pricing, promotions, and product lifecycle decisions
- Analyze sales, margin, inventory, customer, and market performance




- Negotiate supplier costs, agreements, rebates, and promotional funding

Requirements:

- University degree in business, commerce, marketing, supply chain, or related field
- Seven or more years in category management, merchandising, purchasing, or retail buying
- Experience managing Hardlines, Seasonal, General Merchandise, or related categories
- Solid category planning, assortment optimization, and vendor negotiation experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and retail merchandising systems
