Argus Hospitality seeks a results-driven Assistant Controller to manage accounting operations across both hotels. The position supports financial performance, internal controls, tax compliance, and organizational targets. Hospitality accounting knowledge, analytical ability, and solid problem-solving skills are central to the work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage accounting records, operations, risks, and regulatory compliance
- Prepare financial statements, reports, forecasts, and operating metrics
- Reconcile revenues, settlements, ledgers, payables, receivables, and deposits
- Coordinate payroll, inventory controls, audits,



and closing procedures
- Manage accounting support personnel and review staff work

Requirements:

- Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or business administration
- Prior hotel accounting experience preferred
- CPA designation or equivalent is an asset
- Knowledge of Opera, Lightspeed, PEP, or Squirrel preferred
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office
