This Personal Support Worker serves Complex Continuing Care and Seniors Mental Health and Dementia Care. The role supports medical patients while addressing responsive behaviours, de-escalation, and age-related mental health needs. Experience with acute care or rehabilitation is required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide care to medical patients and meet physical demands
- Deal effectively with responsive behaviours
- De-escalate patients using appropriate approaches
- Work collaboratively as a member of the health team
- Support safety and prevention of adverse health events

Requirements:

- Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
- Personal Support Worker or HealthCare Aide Certificate
- Current BLS, GPA, and U-first certificates
- Acute care or rehabilitation experience
- Advanced bilingual English and French proficiency
