Maintain painted, wallpapered, carpeted, and tiled areas at Chelsea Hotel, Toronto, using painting knowledge and careful workspace practices. Work across guest and service areas.

The Painter supports building appearance throughout Canada’s largest hotel, including guest rooms, corridors, restaurants, washrooms, kitchens, and service areas. This position maintains supplies, tools, storage spaces, and protective coverings. It also follows hotel policies, health and safety requirements, and fire regulations. Experience in a similar capacity and knowledge of painting materials are required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain painted, wallpapered, carpeted, and tiled building areas
- Keep paint supplies sufficiently stocked for scheduled maintenance




- Clean the Paint Shop and storage rooms
- Clean tools and reseal containers after use
- Check maintenance assignments and read the log book daily

Requirements:

- Experience in a similar painting capacity
- Knowledge of painting materials and supplies
- Valuable communication skills
- Ability to speak and understand English
- Ability to climb ladders and carry up to 50 pounds
